- I have a scar that is raised.
Solution: Scarguard MD® AND Solarguard MD®. Scar Management is usually successful even years later IF you are treating the right type of scar.
- I just had surgery.
Solution: Scarguard MD® AND Solarguard MD®. Plastic surgeons and dermatologists usually recommend starting Scarguard when the wound has completely healed to help minimize the growth of scar tissue. While scar management is usually started 2 weeks after surgery for best results consult your doctor as to the best time to start.
- I just had an injury.

- I have a scar that is brown.

- My old scar is flat or sunken.
See your doctor. We know of no product that can actually help sunken scars. Products that actually work, like Scarguard MD®, will not help a flat or sunken scar. If your scar is flat or sunken and still unsightly please see a plastic surgeon or a dermatologist for help.
- My scar is pink or white.
See your doctor. Scars are often pink during the healing process. This usually fades by itself but should be checked by a doctor. White scars cannot be darkened by any medication that we know of. These should also be checked by your doctor.
- I have a bruise from a recent accident or injury.

- A future surgery will cause bruising.
